The holidays were really busy here at the inn and with all the new snow the winter activities are in full swing.  Be sure to look at our Ski & Stay packages with Ragged Mountain Resort and Mount Sunapee Resort.  There are a few cross country ski centers nearby as well and an ice rink in town and many spots to snowshoe.  A local shop rents equipment for all these activities.  About 1/2 hour drive from the inn is a place to have a sleigh ride if the conditions are favorable.  January 29th, a day before the next full moon, the New London Recreation Department will be putting on its “Dinner with Jack Frost” a progressive snow shoe dinner featuring campfires at each food tent along the way.  The inn has a spot along the trail and will be featuring Potage Lyonnaise (potato soup…..a favorite!).  The trek ends at the Colby Sawyer College campus with a big bonfire and band.
