At the Inn at Pleasant Lake, we specialize in experiences. Our New London inn features the highly acclaimed fine dining restaurant, Oak & Grain, for a dining experience sure to please. Our 2018 cooking classes are taught by Chef Leary in a small group setting. Chef has crafted these classes to follow our seasonal menu. Share the kitchen with Chef Leary and learn the techniques that make our dinners at Oak & Grain at the Inn at Pleasant Lake so special.
Scheduled Classes are offered monthly, generally targeting the second Wednesday of each month. Points of interest including local sourcing of unique ingredients, preparation techniques, flavor combinations that tantalize the tongue, finish and presentation, and beverage pairing. Come for one class or come every month! – it is up to you.

We also host specialty events, such as our upcoming Mother’s Day Cooking Class. The best way to mom’s heart is spending time in the kitchen together! Join us this Mother’s Day, May 13th for a hands-on cooking class with Chef Bryan Leary. Stay for dinner and receive a $25 credit for each class participant! Rather just relax and enjoy dining?
Enjoy the casual elegance of the Oak & Grain Dining Room. Chef Bryan Leary prepares an unforgettable five course meal each night, Wednesday through Sunday. Cocktail Reception begins at 6:15 pm, with the Chef’s presentation at 7, followed by the seating. Come enjoy the experience! Price is $65 per person. Beverages, Gratuities and NH State Taxes not included.
We have also offer Sunday Brunch! Each Sunday we offer a delicious and inspired brunch for $35 per person. The blend of breakfast flavors and gourmet dining is very creative, and the views of the lake are outstanding! Cocktails at 11:30 am, seating at 12 pm.
