Pumpkins for Fall Activities in New Hampshire

Fall Activities in New Hampshire: IPL’s Ponderous Pumpkin Promenade

Fall is just around the corner and we couldn’t be more thrilled about it! There’s nothing like bringing out that favorite sweater to go leaf peeping, sipping on a hot apple cider while you’re sitting around a fire, or gathering with the family for fall celebrations. With our ever-changing menu at Oak & Grain and Fall Specials at the Inn, we want to give our guests unique experiences that  heighten the enjoyment of the seasons by adding to the fall activities in New Hampshire.

2018 is our 150th Anniversary and we’ve been hosting festivities all year long to celebrate.  In October, we’re bringing the excitement of fall to our guests in a unique way. With visions of bright leaves, pumpkins, and warm beverages in mind, we’re hosting a Pumpkin Promenade!  It will be fun for the whole family and you could win Brunch for two at Oak & Grain.  Your carved pumpkin will be on display for all of our guests to enjoy, until the winner is selected.

The Inn at Pleasant Lake will be the stage for a pumpkin carving extravaganza, which will be open to the public. Your beautiful orange pumpkins will be displayed at the entrance of the Inn to welcome our guests during the Fall season. We’ll have a pumpkin carving station and  beverages available. On Halloween, one lucky winner will be selected and announced. The winner of the pumpkin carving competition will receive a gift certificate for Brunch for two at Oak & Grain, the Inn’s in-house restaurant.
