The Holidays are always so magical, and The Inn at Pleasant Lake is full of history and traditions. There’s a different light that embraces the world during the Season. We invite you to join us to enjoy all the splendor and warmth the Inn holds. Over the passed one hundred and fifty years, we’ve seen families create traditions alongside some of their fondest memories. To celebrate, we are bringing back the Gallery of Trees for 2018!
Join us from December 26th to December 31st to enjoy The Gallery of Trees, a fresh concept which invites the community to come together. Christmas Trees will be decorated by local businesses and displayed at our historic 1789 venue. Visitors are welcome to view The Gallery, make a donation to the Food Bank, and vote on whichever Christmas tree they enjoy the most. Leave us your information and you’ll be entered in the drawing for a gift certificate to Oak & Grain! All donations will be made to the New Hampshire Food Bank in the name of the business with the winning tree. We will also provide a food drop location for donations. The Inn at Pleasant Lake works with the New Hampshire Food Bank because we believe in their mission and their methods in supporting the community we so cherish.
During its inaugural year, the Gallery of Trees saw over 300 guests! We were elated to be joined by so many supportive and cheerful guests. We had eleven local businesses design and decorate Christmas Trees that were displayed in our historic barn venue. This event quickly became one of our favorites and we’re excited to revisit it with our community.
The New Hampshire Food Bank was responsible for distributing more than 13 million pounds of food during 2017. After opening their doors in 1984, they have been a primary source for those in need throughout New Hampshire. We’re honored to call them our friends. After the New Year, we’ll count up the votes for the Christmas Trees and make a donation in the name of the winning tree.
This event is all about bringing together our community with the goal of giving back during the most charitable part of the year. We’re thrilled for its return and to give back to the community we cherish.
