Inn at Pleasant Lake Front Page Screen Shot

“The New Phonebook is Here!”

Who remembers the classic comedy, The Jerk, with Steve Martin?  Who wouldn’t, no?  I love that scene where he runs up to the phonebook delivery guy and gets all excited, jumping up and down shouting, “The new phonebook is here!  The new phonebook is here!”  That’s how we’re feeling around the Inn at Pleasant Lake these days, except we don’t often use phonebooks to find each other anymore, we use websites!  So, yes!  The new website is here!  The new website is here!  Literally here: www.Innatpleasantlake.com

Inn at Pleasant Lake Rooms

We have put a lot of energy into this site and we really hope friends of the Inn, both old and new, are as impressed as we are with the outcome.  Among the design goals, we wanted a site that was photo-centric with lots of real estate to enable guests to see for themselves how lovely the property is.  We wanted an intuitive, mobile friendly interface that is simple to navigate and fun to use.  We had to, of course, feature our elegant rooms and award-winning fine dining, but we also wanted to highlight our outstanding team and have room to promote community events and happenings around the area.  We intend to become more active with our blogs now that we can better manage the content and it will be easier to find.

Most importantly, we would love your feedback and commentary on the new site.  We consider our site an extension of our guests’ experience with us, an extenuation of the physical experience you encounter when you visit.  There is nothing more important to us than our guests’ experience, and we hope you will feel the same way about the website as you do about the Inn itself.  Please visit our Facebook post and let us know in the comments what your impressions are.  Obviously, if you haven’t started following us on Facebook, now is the perfect time.  And of course, if you’d prefer to share your thoughts through a good old fashioned face to face chat (imagine that!) we’ve love to see you around the Inn.

I’ll leave you with the immortal words of Steve Martin has he closed the phonebook scene, “I’m in print!  Things are going to start happening to me now!”

P.S. If you haven’t seen the classic Steve Martin skit in a while, enjoy!
