Bride and Groom during one of our Winter Weddings

A Salute to Our Veterans

With Veterans Day approaching, Jen and I wanted to take a moment to share our appreciation for all of our active duty and retired military members.  For keeping us safe, for protecting our freedom, for sacrificing on our behalf, for the risks you face, for making the world a better place, and so much more, we thank you.  Our business is one of caring for people, and we are honored to have the opportunity to care for folks who have done so much for us.

We began participating in a wonderful program three years ago when we first bought the Inn called B&B’s for Vets, and are proud to continue the tradition in 2017.  As a small gesture of our appreciation, we open our rooms to active duty and retired military members for a night before the Veteran’s Day holiday.  They book up fast!  Each year we’ve “sold out” the program.  The B&Bs for Vets program is celebrating a ten-year anniversary in 2017. Over the past ten years, thousands of B&B’s and inns across the United States and Canada have offered active and retired veterans free lodging for one night on or around Veteran’s Day. This program was started by Kathleen Panek, a West Virginia Innkeeper in 2008. The Association of Independent Hospitality Professionals (AIHP) coordinates the B&Bs for Vets program to honor our hard working military.

Be sure to forward this link to the military folks in your life so they may take advantage of this fantastic program in the future.  And be sure to bookmark our page and follow us on Facebook for all the latest happenings around our New Hampshire inn and restaurant.

For our military guests arriving on Friday this year, we warmly welcome you to our Inn and look forward to being a small part of a wonderful weekend for you.
