Our New Hampshire B&B during spring

Spring Time at the Inn

As New Englanders we love winter.  If you’ve ever spent time in here when the days are short and the lakes are frozen, you’ll probably understand when we refer to “blanket covered landscapes”.  But even the hardiest New Englander looks forward to the thaw of spring in New Hampshire. Nothing beats the lengthening days and the smell of the Earth waking up. The promise of summer rejuvenates the souls of the people in our region with its promise of warmth and new life. If you haven’t been to the Inn at Pleasant Lake during spring, it is well past time to give it a try!  Our outdoor patio sets the stage for the inn’s extensive gardens that reach across the property. It’s quite a marvel to sit on our patio asSpring flowers in New Hampshire the bees begin to buzz, encouraging the flowers and trees, while the birds sway through the air and the soft breeze comes off the lake. We encourage our guests to grab a craft cocktail from our bar, choose a seat on our patio, and relax as nature fills your senses.

2018 marked our 150th year Anniversary as an Inn, and we designed unique events for each month of the year. In May, we focused on spring.  Our emphasis on the bounty of the seasons makes spring a unique celebration here and we look forward to engaging our guests in that celebration of new life and rejuvenation!  On May 27th we invited the community to join us for a Garden Party while we dedicated one of our fine gardens to our loyal guests. In addition to some lovely new plantings, our 150th Anniversary Garden will celebrate our guests by showcasing river rocks engraved with the names of guests who have stayed with us for many nights over our history.  We wanted to honor them and create an enduring way to demonstrate how much we value them as a part of the IPL family.Views during Spring in New Hampshire Our  hospitality is based on unique experiences and making memories.
