Brunch at our New England Bed and Breakfast

Our Sunday Bunch offering was inspired by our traditional prix-fixe dinners, and offers the same blend of locally sourced ingredients with regional flavors and methods. The blend of fine dining components with breakfast mainstays creates a unique dining experience in our relaxed atmosphere. We offer a three-course menu with options for each course – Appetizer, Entrée, and Desert.

Brunch is served indoors only.

  • Cocktail Reception begins at 11:30 am (Currently cocktails are served at your table.)
  • Brunch Seating is at 12:00 pm
  • Brunch $40 per person, not including tax, gratuity or beverages

Enticing your sense of culinary adventure, Chef Bryan Leary brings you a fully curated, elevated 6-course dinner, where he personally crafts each dish for you. No set menu and no selections are needed. Apart from your dietary restrictions, chef will be choosing for you from start to finish this evening!  This is an exclusive experience, and will be limited to two tables on any given night.  You can have up to 6 members in your party, and we expect all members will participate in this immersive dining experience. Let our team take special care of you for the night.

Featured Wine Options

We currently offer wines by the glass and by the bottle, as well as wine flights to complement your dinner. Wine Flights are ideal for trying new varieties of wine and experimenting with which wines best enhance your meal selection.  We offer wines that typically are not available by the glass, to give guests the opportunity to sample special varietals. Select three pours for your flight and enjoy throughout your dining experience. Find your favorite and order a bottle for your table to share!

Chef suggested wine pairings are offered with Chef’s Whim Dining only. Courses are paired with three varieties of wine. Each wine is carefully selected to enhance that evening’s specific meal and presented individually.  Our team loves to share why each variety was selected and how the pairing highlights certain flavors of that course.

Oak & Grain has been revered for our Chef Selected dining experiences.  From our traditional Signature 5-Course Prix Fixe to our Seasonal Offerings, Chef Leary layers flavors and textures in an engaged culinary experience. The 2020 Chef’s Select Tasting Menu, available in either 3-Course or 5-Course formats, has been specifically designed by Chef Leary to build as the meal progresses. Guests have selections in each course, but all the dishes have been designed to complement the flavors of the others.  Choose our chef recommended wine pairings, and let our service team take special care of you for the night.

Chef Leary has designed classes to follow the seasonal menus that made our restaurant the top-rated fine dining establishment in New London.  Share the kitchen with Chef Leary and learn the techniques that make our dinners at Oak & Grain at the Inn at Pleasant Lake so special.  Scheduled classes are planned monthly now, generally targeting the second Wednesday of each month.
