Whether you are simply joining us for dinner or staying overnight at the Inn, we invite you to feel at home as our guest for the evening. Chef Leary and his team prepare prix-fixe dinners where he personally engages you in an intimate experience that will excite your inner foodie.

    Scheduled Cooking Classes

    Chef Leary has designed classes to follow the seasonal menus that made our restaurant the top-rated fine dining establishment in New London.  Share the kitchen with Chef Leary and learn the techniques that make our dinners at Oak & Grain at the Inn at Pleasant Lake so special.  Scheduled classes are planned monthly now, generally targeting the second Wednesday of each month. Sign up now to be on our call list for the next scheduled class.  Can’t wait?  You don’t have to.  Gather a group of  5 or more interested friends and we’d be happy to arrange a private class for your party or event!

    • Classes range from $55 – $100 per participant, based on menu content

    Featured Wine Options

    We offer chef suggested wine pairings to complement dinner on any night. With our Signature 5 course dining, three courses are paired, generally with wines that we typically do not carry by the glass, to give guests the opportunity to sample special varietals. With 3 course dining, Chef Leary has paired suggested wines with each week’s menu, and offers by-the-glass pours to complement your menu selections.

    Each Wednesday, a select wine will be featured for the evening providing guests the opportunity to learn more in depth about a new wine, and enjoy by-the-glass access to new and interesting selections.

    • Pairing Flights $34 – $38 per person (offered with 5 course dining)
